SAN ANTONIO — Frontier Airlines will soon be offering service to nine new cities from San Antonio.
Representatives from the low-cost airline joined city officials on the steps of City Hall Thursday morning to make the announcement.
The cities being added are Albuquerque, Charlotte, Cleveland, Columbus, Jacksonville, Memphis, Oklahoma City, Omaha and Tulsa.
The announcement is the largest air service announcement in the San Antonio International Airport’s history. It also means Frontier will become the largest carrier in San Antonio, in regards to destinations served. The airline launched five new flights last fall, and five others last month.
