SAN ANTONIO — UPDATE: TxDOT says the construction project on the Graytown Road overpass has completed early, and all lanes along I-10 have reopened Saturday evening.
TxDOT says that traffic along Graytown Road must use alternate routes to cross I-10. North and southbound traffic along Graytown Road will be rerouted along the frontage roads and will have to turn around to return to Graytown Road.

Original story:
All lanes along a portion of I-10 on the city's far east side will remain closed this weekend as crews begin demolishing an overpass.
TxDOT will close all mainlanes just east and west of Graytown Road beginning at 9 p.m. Friday, April 24 as the process to replace the Graytown Road overpass gets underway.
Eastbound traffic will be diverted onto the frontage road at the Graytown Road exit and re-enter the interstate east of Graytown Road. Westbound traffic will take the Graytown Road exit and re-enter I-10 west of Graytown Road.
North and southbound traffic along Graytown Road will be rerouted along the frontage roads and will have to turn around to return to Graytown Road.
TxDOT says the Graytown Road crossing will ultimately be reconfigured to an underpass located west of the current location, creating a seamless crossing of I-10 and improving safety in the area.
I-10 is slated to reopen at 5 a.m. Monday, April 27. More information is available on the TxDOT website.
