Bryan Police responds to nine crashes as Texas A&M starts commencement ceremonies

On Thursday, the Bryan Police Department responded to nine crashes in the area, several of which were along State Highway 21.

BRYAN, Brazos County — KAGS has received information from Bryan Police about the number of crashes that occurred on Thursday, alone.

The reasons for each of the crashes are specific to each individual case; however, there have arguably been more cars moving through Bryan and College Station due to the graduation ceremonies taking place at Texas A&M University.

Several of the crashes occurred along different intersections of State Highway 21, while the rest were scattered throughout the city in both low volume and high volume traffic spots.

One of those crashes resulted in one person having lost their life; however, the identity of that individual has not been released.
