MINNEAPOLIS — The Texas Tech Red Raiders lost to the University of Virginia Cavaliers in overtime, 85-77 Monday night at the NCAA Men's Basketball Championship 

It is the first NCAA men's basketball championship for Virginia, and this championship game appearance was the first for Texas Tech. 

WFAA was live in Minneapolis and in Lubbock for updates throughout the night.
