The Chicago Cubs won their first World Series title since 1908 in Game 7 on Wednesday night in an 8-7 win against the Cleveland Indians in 10 innings.
The Cubs played in their first Series since 1945.
The Cleveland Indians now hold the longest World Series championship drought in Major League Baseball. The Indians last won the World Series in 1948.
