A man accused of trying to get away from Bexar County deputies thought he could do that by taking off his clothes.
Manuel Jaime Garcia is accused of leading a deputy on a chase back in March on Highway 281 South.
At one point, he pulled into an apartment complex on Roosevelt Avenue on the south side of San Antonio and started running. While running, he took off his clothes.
When the deputy lost track of him, he picked up Garcia’s pants and found his I.D. card. The 25-year-old man is now charged with evading arrest.
