BEXAR COUNTY — A man and woman who ran out of gas on the north side were hit by another car while on the side of the road early Thursday morning.
The two drivers stopped along 281 North between Bitters and Brookhollow. They were both out of their cars and putting gas in one of them when a black Jeep rolled over onto them.
The man and woman were taken to University Hospital in serious condition. There were two children in the back seat of one of the cars. They were not injured.
The man who was driving the Jeep was evaluated for DWI.
