Three men rob ACE Cash Express by cutting hole in wall, police say

Police say the three men cut a hole in the wall of a vacant business next to the ACE Cash Express.

SAN ANTONIO — Police say three men robbed an ACE Cash Express employee Tuesday morning.

Officers were called out the location on South W. W. White Road just before 8:00 a.m., for a report of a robbery.

Police say the three men cut a hole in the wall of a vacant business next to the ACE Cash Express.

An ACE employee reportedly came in and started fighting with one of the men. The employee pepper-sprayed the man twice. That employee was scratched on the arm and forehead. The men ran off with her purse, computer and phone. The phone was recovered down the road.

Police say the employee stopped a VIA bus driver and the bus driver called police.

The men have not yet been arrested.
