In a show of support for federal employees affected by the government shutdown, Taco Cabana is offering 20% of its entire menu to all federal workers.
The fast-food chain founded in San Antonio says that federal employees will need to provide a valid federal government employee identification issued by a department affected by the shutdown in order to take advantage of the offer.
According to a press release, the offer is valid at any participating Taco Cabana location, dine-in or drive-thru, but is not valid on online orders. The offer will be limited to a maximum of $20 in savings.
Taco Cabana President Chuck Locke issued a statement, saying that “Our brand is committed to supporting the many communities we’ve had the pleasure of serving. We hope that by extending this offer, we can help those affected by the government shutdown.”
The discount will remain in effect through the period of the shutdown, Taco Cabana says, unless otherwise announced.
