SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio Water System crews responded to a sewer spill near 8510 Mission Parkway on the south side Sunday night.

Officials said the crews would work to stop the spill tonight, then work on cleanup, repairs, and investigating the cause in the morning.

"The cause at this point is undetermined, but the extended drought followed by recent wet weather could have contributed to soil movement in this area, which is known to have high clay content," officials said in a release.
