A woman was arrested for hitting a wheelchair-bound man with her car and not stopping.
Police said the victim, 58, was riding his motorized wheelchair in the street when a white Honda hit him from behind.
The incident happened in the 8600 block of Wurzbach Road after 1:30 a.m. Monday.
The man was taken to University Hospital. His injuries were initially described as critical, but officers said the man was conscious and talking with SAPD. Investigators at the scene later said the victim's injuries were not life threatening.
Officers said the suspect, whose name and age have not been released, faces a charge of failure to stop and render aid.
