SAN ANTONIO — Police say a man tried to break into a south-side ATM machine early Tuesday morning.
A call came out for a man trying to break into the cash machine at the Bank of America on Rayburn using a samurai sword. That was around 2:25 a.m. Tuesday morning.
Police say the man used rebar to attempt to crack open the machine and did some serious damage. But, they say he was not able to get any cash out of it.
Police found the man on West Pyron. He told police the banks take all of his money. He was detained and taken in for questioning.
