Police are looking for two men who they claim killed a man during a home invasion on the south side.

Around midnight Wednesday morning, police said two guys forced their way into a home on Regina Street, near the intersection with South Hackberry.

The San Antonio Police Department said the suspects pulled a gun on the two men who lived there.

One of the men living in the home, Oscar Carrizales, told police he was ordered to the ground when one of the suspects pointed a gun at him. He said he feared for his life, so he complied.

As the suspects were leaving, the other man living in the home chased after them and started shooting.

One of the suspects fired back, hitting that man in the chest. He died at the scene, and his identity has not been released.

One of the suspects, later identified as 32-year-old Eddie Padilla, was shot in the neck and taken to the San Antonio Military Medical Center in critical condition. Police said Padilla condition later "stabilized," and he will be held on $100,000 bond.

According to Wednesday morning's police report, the two men got away.
