Streets shut down after man barricades himself in a Studio 6; Man who ran from police caught by K-9 | KENS 5 News Now

SAN ANTONIO — Multiple police cars are on the scene where a person is barricaded inside a Studio 6 leading to roads shutdown Thursday morning. Police have shut down Fredericksburg Road and Louis Pasteur, near Medical Center Drive, when they arrived on the scene around 6 a.m. Thursday.

According to SAPD and UTSA, violent crime in the city is down by about seven percent. The police department and university have been partnering up for a violent crime reduction plan for a year now.
