LEON VALLEY — A teenager has been charged with murder after a grandmother died in the back of his car.

Leon Valley police say they tried to pull over 19-year-old Ray Reyes Soto Thursday night, but he kept driving away from officers and eventually crashed in the H-E-B parking lot on Bandera and Loop 410.

His girlfriend's grandmother was in the backseat of the vehicle and was killed in the crash.

Police say that Soto did not want to pull over the vehicle because he had outstanding warrants.
