SAN ANTONIO — Even though the annual Cowboy Breakfast is on hold until next year, you can still get free breakfast tacos at another event this week.
Favor's Chief Taco Officer and San Antonio native, Chris Flores, will be at True Texas Tacos on Friday from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.
It is part of a tour around Texas. Flores will also be visiting Houston and Corpus Christi on the tour.
Back in September, KENS 5 spoke with Flores about his unique job.
“As chief taco officer, it is my job to travel Texas, to taste tacos, document them, and then share with Texans and really anybody who loves our culture,” Flores said at the time. “I've been to Dallas, I've been to Corpus, I've been the Rio Grande Valley, El Paso, I've done Austin, and then I did like an I-35 corridor, trying taquerias in San Marcos all the way up to Waco.”
No purchase is necessary to receive the two free tacos Friday. True Texas Tacos is located next to H-E-B at 17439 Classen Road.
