San Antonio — Multicultural cuisine and live music will be front and center this Saturday at the Eastside Food Truck Festival.
Put on by local company Urban Sophistication, the food truck frenzy will take place at the Wheatley Heights Sports Complex Saturday, May 26 from 12 pm to 6 pm.
Soul food, barbecue, Tex-Mex, Cajun, Mediterranean are just a few of the eats mentioned to be a part of the food truck festival.
Local music artists Billy Ray Sheppard, Carmen De Azurca Morena, Big AL & Nut'N Nice, Kara Nichole will also perform live music at the event.
There will also be a kids zone.
Tickets range from $5 to $15. You can get them online or at the gate.
Proceeds will benefit Blackbook Studios, a Texas non-profit that supports kids desiring careers in the media.
