SAN ANTONIO — Bexar County Sheriff's deputies are searching for two suspects who fled after a traffic stop on the city's northeast side Friday night.
A BCSO deputy working on the violent crimes task force attempted to stop a vehicle driving recklessly in the 1500 block of Austin Highway.
The suspects led deputies on a chase and stopped in an alleyway in the 400 block of Brightwood Place. The driver and passenger fled on foot and were able to get away from deputies.
Deputies found a backpack filled with two loaded handguns, over a pound of marijuana, and other contraband.
Both firearms were found to be stolen.
No arrests have been made at this time.
