Trae the Truth has been riding around the Houston area looking to help people who are stranded in high water.
Wednesday afternoon, the Houston rapper spotted Martha Holmgren wading in water up to her waist in Settlers Park subdivision in Sugar Land. Holmgren told Trae that she needed groceries, but she couldn't drive through the flooded areas. So she decided to just walk.
Trae picked her up, took her to the store and back to her house.
During Tuesday’s severe weather threat, Trae took to his Instagram to let people know he wanted to help anyone was was trapped in high water.
He asked people to reach out to his volunteer group, Relief Gang, and he would personally come pick them up.
Trae said he knows the weather is going to be rough all week and he will be doing rescues for the next several days.
His volunteer group, Relief Gang, is known for helping people during major flooding.
During Harvey, Trae the Truth and his team were out rescuing people trapped in flood waters. He even helped rebuild homes that were damaged from the hurricane.
The rapper even went to the Carolinas to help people during Hurricane Florence.
