A woman was arrested Wednesday morning after allegedly attempting to sell a child.
Child Protective Services requested assistance from the San Antonio Police Department in investigating allegations made against Krystle Nicole Pantoja, 35, of trying to sell a child for $1500, according to arrest warrant affidavit.
Child Protective Services questioned Pantoja at her home in the presence of the SAPD about letters sent to a man. In the letters, Pantoja said she would let the child stay with the man who she alleges was in a sexual relationship with the child.
According to the affidavit, Pantoja told the man if any charges are brought against the man for the sexual relationship, she will get them dropped completely.
Pantoja initially denied writing the letters but later confessed to sending them to the man.
Pantoja was charged with sale or purchase of a child.
