COMAL COUNTY — The New Braunfels Police Department is asking for the public's assistance in identifying a man seen on surveillance video burglarizing Gruene Outfitters.
Police said at approximately 4:30 a.m. May 30, the suspect smashed open a window at Gruene Outfitters, located in the 1600 block of Hunter Road. Once inside, the suspect then removed several Yeti-brand coolers worth more than $2,500 before fleeing the scene in a white pickup truck.
Authorities described the suspect as a heavy set male, standing approximately 5-feet to 5-feet-5-inches tall. He was seen in the video wearing a blue shirt, blue jeans, red running shoes, black gloves and a black mask.
