A San Antonio man was arrested after investigators found a large amount of child pornography on his devices, an FBI spokesperson said.

Lynn Maxwell Gerstner, 69, was allegedly producing, receiving and distributing child pornography, investigators with the FBI and Bexar County Sheriff’s Office said. A joint investigation by the two agencies seized telephones and computers from his residence last month, according to the complaint. Authorities found “a large amount” of child pornography on the devices.

Gerstner later appeared at the FBI office for a follow-up interview. He had purchased a new phone just after the execution of the search warrant and brought it with him to the FBI office. Investigators allegedly discovered that it also contained a large volume of child pornography that he had recently downloaded from his cloud account.

Gerstner faces a charge of Production of Child Pornography, which carries a penalty of a minimum of 15 years and a maximum of 30 years in federal prison if he's found guilty. The investigation is ongoing to identify additional victims.
