SAN ANTONIO — It was an eventful morning for the 24-year-old driver of a Chrysler PT cruiser who led DPS troopers on a chase on the city's south side before crashing into a home.
According to authorities at the scene, the chase began near 410 and Roosevelt around 7 a.m. this morning.
A DPS trooper attempted to pull over the driver, but he refused to stop, evading the trooper.
The short chase ended in the 300 block of Felps Boulevard when the driver crashed into a home.
He reportedly tried to run away from the crash, but was arrested by a trooper a block away.
The driver was arrested on charges of fleeing, evading arrest, and possession of marijuana.
There were no reported injuries to the driver, troopers, or the homeowner.
Damage to the house was minor.
