SAN ANTONIO — The Alamo Plaza is opening up to foot traffic once again. But the iconic landmark itself, as well as the walled-off grounds behind it, will remain closed to the public amid the pandemic.

Barriers were errected around the plaza weeks ago when nightly demonstrations were happening in downtown San Antonio. The plaza had been closed since June.
