Alamo Heights Night kicks off pre-Fiesta festivities

The University of the Incarnate Word's campus was covered with booths serving up your favorite Fiesta foods.

SAN ANTONIO — Fiesta may not officially start until April 18 but the pre-Fiesta festivities are kicking off this weekend!

Thousands convened on the campus of the University of the Incarnate Word for Alamo Heights Night Friday.

The event, which was put on by the Alamo Heights Rotary, marked the 33rd year of a night full of family fun and delicious Fiesta foods such as, Texas Style BBQ, funnel cakes, turkey legs and so much more.

Of course, it wouldn't have been a pre-Fiesta event without live entertainment.

The Hotcakes, Skyrocket, Finding Friday, the Brandon Michael Band and a Mariachi Band performed bringing the crowd to their feet.

Kids were getting in on the action too with activities like laser tag, rock climbing, slides, rides and more at the carnival midway.

All in all, it was a night filled with Fiesta fun for San Antonians of all ages!
