Taking her disability and adding a little sass to create something inspirational

SAN ANTONIO — Lindy Perez dedicates most of her time to her craft.

“I think there’s always been that element of being a creator and making things throughout my life," Lindy Perez said.

Each of her pieces begins with a blank canvas, then add some color to create her decorative abstract or calligraphy pieces.

“The main theme in my work is color and having things be bright. So whether it’s my calligraphy having positive inspirational sayings or its my abstract art being just pops of color and something that makes you happy," Perez said.
