Front line workers host blood drive for community

If you couldn't make it out this weekend, they recommend you donate any time at the South Texas Blood and Tissue Center.

SAN ANTONIO — Those on the front lines often help save lives. They did so this weekend, but in a different way.

Local firefighters, paramedics and first responders hosted a blood drive Saturday at the San Antonio Fire Department Union Hall.

Many of them donated blood themselves. If you couldn't make it out this weekend, they recommend you donate any time at the South Texas Blood and Tissue Center. If you're interested in donating, you can visit their website.
