San Antonio Zoo honors military personnel with free admission during November

SAN ANTONIO — The San Antonio Zoo and USAA are teaming up to offer military personnel free admission during the month of November. 

Zoo Salutes, which is presented by USAA, honors active duty, retired, and veteran members of the military, National Guard and reserves. 

Additionally, military members can bring four guests, who will receive 50% off standard admission. 

Members of the military will be able to enjoy Whataburger Zoo Lights when it kicks off later this month. 

SA Zoo President and CEO, Tim Morrow said, "We are honored to have the opportunity to thank our military during the month of November."

To claim a free admission ticket, military members must show a valid ID at the zoo's front gate. 

The offer is valid from November 1 through November 30.
