SAN ANTONIO — The calendar is creeping ever-closer to Fiesta, and this year’s highly-anticipated and eagerly-awaited schedule is set to include a renowned Tejano musical act.
Little Joe Y La Familia – a multi-Grammy winning band celebrating 60 years of performing this year – is set to make an appearance during Fiesta at Market Square on Wednesday, April 24, where the band is expected to entertain and delight attendees.
Little Joe will be coming at least close to home by playing in the Alamo City; he was born in Temple about 150 miles away in 1940. By the time he was in his teens Little Joe was already making music, and it was only up from there.
The concert on April 24 is expected to begin at 9:45 p.m. at Historic Market Square.
