SAN ANTONIO — The biggest party in San Antonio may have been postponed until November, but that doesn't mean you can't still enjoy your favorite Fiesta foods.
This Saturday, San Antonians are invited to don their best guayaberas and embroidered blouses and get their Fiesta food-fix from Mi Familia.
Mi Familia will be holding a drive-thru Fiesta with food booths serving staples such as chicken-on-a-stick and gorditas. In this way, guests will be able to "get their fiesta fix from the comfort, and safe-distance, of their vehicles," a spokesperson for La Familia Cortez restaurants explained.
In addition to picking up food, guests can also buy micheladas, margaritas, mangonadas and a variety of fiesta flair such as flower halos and papel picado from drive-up booths.
The event kicks off in the parking lot of Mi Familia de Mi Tierra located in the RIM shopping center at 12 p.m. and ends at 6 p.m.
