SAN ANTONIO — The Fiesta festivities continued Tuesday with Fiesta Especial.
The event which was held in the Alamo Dome Parking Lot from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. included plenty of sensory-friendly activities.
The official Fiesta San Antonio event was created for children and adults with physical, cognitive, and developmental differences.
Organizations created for differently abled children and adults, such as Teamability, Kinetic Kids, Hemisfair Inclusion Programming, and The River City Group were set up throughout the carnival providing information to attendees and their families.
According to the event's website, "Fiesta Especial creates inclusive and educational experiences engaging individuals with disabilities in the culture, diversity, and celebrations of Fiesta."
