SAN ANTONIO - You might have party clothes in your closet and your medal sash ready... but chances are that your beard isn't ready for Fiesta!
A new fundraising campaign could make your make sure your face is just as festive.
Fiesta Beard is a design project by Sarah Cooper, Erin Chase and Sara Lauren Hinojosa of Honeysuckle Teatime. The campaign is expected to raise money for three nonprofits: SAY Sí, Les Dames d'Escoffier and Gardopia Gardens.

"Funds will be raised through a social media campaign, an online donation platform, media appearances, sponsorships and several Fiesta Beard events," Hinojosa said.
The group plans to host a Fiesta Beard cocktail party, beard decorating and face painting at Fiesta events, and a Fiesta Beard Block Party held in Dignowity Hill.
Fiesta fans will also have a chance to vote on their favorite beard design on social media. Check back for event information and updates on the Fiesta Beard Instagram page.
