El Rey Fido Coronation

You've heard about the crowing of King Antonio each Fiesta season, along with his alter ego, El Rey Feo (literally "the ugly king.")

You might not know about El Rey Fido, a coronation event that benefits dogs (and cats) at the San Antonio Humane Society. Check it out and take photos with a cute pooch or pup!


Fiesta de los Niños: Port San Antonio, 102 Mabry. 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.

Chanclas y Cervezas: Greenline Park, 2532 Sidney Brooks, 5-10 p.m.

Chaparral Music & Heritage Festival: 434 S. Alamo St., Noon - 11 p.m.

Investiture of King Antonio: Alamo Plaza, 6 - 7:30 p.m.

A Taste of New Orleans: Sunken Garden Theater - Brackenridge Park 3875 N. St. Mary's St. Noon - 11 p.m.

Fiesta Oyster Bake: St. Mary's University, One Camino Santa Maria, Noon - 11 p.m.
