If you love high school halftime shows, then this is a must-see Fiesta event. Bring the kids and inspire them to join the band. The routines are marvelously inventive and the level of commitment from these students is astounding. Go and applaud these talented kids!

Food and drinks are available and seating is comfortable, but bring a hat and sunscreen, at least for the first part.

Fiesta Cornyation: Charline McCombs Empire Theatre, 224 E. Houston St., two showtimes at 7 and 10 p.m.

Fiesta Carnival: Alamodome Parking Lot C, 100 Montana St., 4 p.m. - midnight
