Stacia Willson grew up in the north Dallas suburb of Richardson, Texas, and is a proud graduate of the University of Texas at Austin.

She began her career at KVHP in Lake Charles, La. From the plight of the Nutria rats to the capture of the South Louisiana serial killer, Stacia covered stories across the state.

In 2004, she joined KLBK 13 in Lubbock, Texas, where she worked as the lead crime reporter.

Then, in the months following Hurricane Katrina, she accepted a reporting position with WWL in New Orleans. There, she focused her attention on the rebuilding of the city, Louisiana politics and a growing violent crime problem.

This true Texas girl welcomed the opportunity to come back to her home state to work for KENS 5, where she is the host of "Eyewitness News at Noon" and also provides weather and traffic reports.

Stacia loves being part of the Alamo City, where "the people are warm and welcoming." During her free time, you'll probably find her riding her bike, dining out and enjoying the beautiful South Texas weather!
