Kristin Dean is a Digital Executive Producer at KENS 5 in San Antonio, Texas.
She got her start in broadcasting as a newscast producer at KZTV in her hometown of Corpus Christi in 2009. She also worked as a newscast producer at KSAT and News 4 in San Antonio.
She now enjoys getting out into the field, shooting and editing stories for the KENS 5 digital team and producing original content for the website and social media platforms. She also uses her extensive multi-platform experience to cross train other newsroom staff members.
Kristin is proud to co-produce Commerce Street, a business podcast from KENS 5, and has a particular passion for covering business and economic news topics.
Before entering broadcast news, Kristin traveled the world. She lived in four other countries and has visited more than 30 others.
When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her three daughters and strives to be an example for them of successfully balancing work and home life.
