Clarke Finney is a reporter and co-host for Great Day SA on KENS 5 in San Antonio, Texas.
Clarke joined the Great Day SA team in January 2020 after spending two years as a journalist in West Texas. She began her career as a reporter for the ABC and Fox duopoly, Big 2 News/FOX24. After 10 months of reporting, she was promoted to full-time morning anchor for both KMID and KPEJ.
Her passion for connecting with others through the art of storytelling began at a young age, and she eventually earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Broadcast Journalism at Biola University.
Outside of work, Clarke is a die-hard foodie who loves finding trendy restaurant spots. She also loves a good true-crime podcast and finds time to listen to her favorites in between bites.
On the weekend, you can catch her salsa dancing in a studio or at a local dance club. She stays active by spin cycling and playing with her pit-bull mix, Chance. She also makes time to volunteer with local organizations.
Clarke can’t live without In-N-Out Burger and swears the best steak is prepared medium rare, isn’t less than 10 oz. and has a solid amount of marbling throughout. It’s a ribeye.
Although she hasn’t been in Texas for long, she doesn’t plan on leaving any time soon because the steaks are too good and the people are too kind.
Clarkie is passionate about covering news without bias and is honored to serve her new community by sharing the stories they care about.
