On the morning of April 10, Eva's Heroes held their 2nd Annual Dance Clinic at Jackson Middle School in North Central San Antonio. Participants learned new dance moves and a dance routine from the San Antonio Spurs Silver Dancers, who created the routine specifically for Eva's Heroes.
The Dance Clinic, for ages 14 and older, was able to bring together those with developmental challenges and meet new friends and have a good time. A surprise visit from Eva Longoria Parker made the event even more special for the participants. Eva was able to spend one-on-one time with all participants and even joined in on the fun by learning the routine herself.
Eva was brought to tears as she watched the full dance routine performed for friends and family. Seeing all the smiling faces dancing and having fun was an emotional point for all, that morning.
Eva's Heroes is dedicated to enriching the lives of those with developmental challenges. The organization helps young adults between the ages of 14 and 21 years of age, with special needs. Eva's Heroes is signing up kids for its Summer Program. To register or for more information visit www.evasheroes.org or call 210-694-9092.
