I want to nominate Mrs. Craighead for the ExCEL Award. She is a Kindergarten teacher at Green Valley Elementary school. She is such a sweet heart and my son loves her. He didn't like going to school at the beginning of the year, but his teacher has helped him so much and is so kindhearted that he loves it now. She takes the time out to help each student and make learning fun for them. She is very sweet and has A LOT of patients with the children. Also she takes the time to make sure the kids understand and are learning. She is also great with the parents as well. She takes the time to let us know what was going on during the week and if we have any questions she recommends you email her or call her. Above all she makes it fun in class and does hands on activities with the kids. My son tells me all the time he likes her so much and they make songs up to help them remember things. I am not good at bragging a lot about a teacher since this is the first one my son has had. But we like her so much and very glad she is our teacher this year. I hear about other teachers from other moms and they are not so lucky. I really would love her to get this award because she deserves recognition for the job she is doing. Thank you for your time.
