Ms. Cynthia De Silva truly deserves to be recognized as an outstanding teacher because of her extraordinary commitment to teaching and her undeniable care for her students.
Prior to our son enrolling at Castle Hills Elementary she was highly recommended to us and by pure luck he found himself in her class. Her engaging methods of teaching are creative, fun and very age appropriate and they keep our son fully interested. Ms. De Silva always encourages students to participate in class with a supportive word or gesture and always takes time to answer her very inquisitive class.
She is very approachable and encourages all parents to play an important part in our children's education with activities to be done at home. Everyday is a surprise when our son comes home to share what he has learned.
For these reasons and many more, Ms. De Silva deserves to be recognized as an outstanding teacher.
