Pink Heels, visit to San Antonio

I sure hope some of you got to see the Pink Fire Engines that came from Victoria, Texas..in support of women survirors of Cancer...I was thinking I wouldn't be able to attend at first due to the rainy weather and lack of transportation...but I was so surpised when they came to pick me up in the special Pink Police car and took me to where the Fire Engine "Debbie". I haven't felt so special in a long time...It is so much more personal and special to see the Pink trucks with survivors names written all over them...and watching women hug the sides after they sign their own name or one in memory of a loved one..it's the warmest and loving feeling...I hope that our Fire Fighters and Police, can get involved in this kind of program...there are so many women in San Antonio, that could use some love and caring in their time of trying to survive...these Fire Fighters and Police Officers do this in their spare time in support of women, how much more great can that be...Its a wonderful program...Let's welcome them back!
