My husband Justin Nicol has been in the United States Air Force for over 5 years and has been on 3 deployments. His job is Security Forces which means he deploys alot! His last one was a back to back deployment. Meaning he was gone for 6 months came home for 6 and left again for another 6 months. This last deployment was really hard on us because I had 2 major seizures and ended up getting transferred by the abmulance both times. I'm so thankful he was able to get sent home to help me out with our two kids who are now 3 and 16 months old. Even if it was for a week it was well worth it! He is the kind of person you can count on for anything and will always help out. When he's just gotten done with a long day at work he will still wake up with our 16 month old if he's crying in the middle of the night. I am so glad to have a man like that in my life, and I know one day my kids will understand why he does what he does in the Military. Not only is he defending us as a family, but hs country! He is my wonderful husband and My hero.
