I decided to capture this picture because it tells a story of two people who fell in love and decided to share the rest of their lives together. On June 15, 2011 I proposed to my girlfriend Karla in this very same spot. I didn't know quite where or how I would do it. But when we got to this spot the sun was setting and it looked so perfect I had to go for it. SO I did and she said yes of course. Before we left I decided to take a picture of this spot because its going to hang in the reception hall on the day of our wedding. I love the San Antonio River because it holds so many memories for me. Not just from the proposal but the historic events that takes place every year!
