David Garcia has been a teacher for 5 years. I have been impressed with his dedication and willingness to serve in any project or activity that we have done. This teacher is exceptionally dedicated, responsible and helpful.
Mr.Garcia has been there for every student, especially when there’s help needed. There are a few times in a student’s life when she has an opportunity to write a letter of recommendation for a truly dedicated teacher. Mr.Garcia is one of those teachers. He has a pleasant personality and positive attitude that is welcome in our Architecture class. He challenges himself by trying techniques and ideas beyond what a typical High School teacher would attempt. He has helped us with different opportunities to get community service and help out at the Architecture Foundation of San Antonio. I have met very important Architects, and other important people with the help of him. Taking his Architecture class has given me so many different opportunities and experiences. He has helped us fundraise so we could go to trips around Texas, including UT Austin to visit the Architecture Program, A&M College Station to tour the Architecture School as well and to get the real story about college. I have learned a lot more than what I started off with. My Interior Designing has improved since I first began.
David Garcia maintains an amazing gift of being able to relate to other students and teachers. He’s successful as a teacher and the ExCEL Award would be perfect for him.
