After seven years of not being able to get pregnant God blessed us with twin baby girls! The road to mother hood was not easy. Being in bed rest at 24 weeks and delievering at 33 weeks was rough. The girls had to be in the NICU for 4 weeks. Thank God my mother was their by my side every step of the way! She is a nurse in womens health and had a son born at 29 weeks. He was in the NICU as well for 6 weeks. Katelynn and Madison are very blessed to have such a wonderful and giving grandmother. My mother sold her house a year ago to help my husband and I be able to support two baby girls. She gets up in the middle of the night to help feed and change them. She is always holding the girls and giving them lots of kisses. Granny Gii-Gi never passes up a moment to brag about her grandbabies. We were so very blessed to recently celebrate Katelynn and Madison's first birthday on June 27th 2010. Granny Gi Gi was there to help decorate, party and clean up afterwards. God has truly blessed us!!
