SAN ANTONIO - According to KENS 5 meteorologist Jared Silverman, wet weather is expected Friday night into Saturday.
Isolated thunderstorms moved rapidly over the downtown area Friday afternoon out west from Lakehills to Castroville.
Cloudy skies are expected overnight along with scattered showers and thunderstorms. After midnight heading into Saturday morning, we could see thunderstorms producing a general one to two inches staying east out towards New Braunfels and Gonzales. That is where we can expect to see a heftier amount of rain.
Wet weather is going to be the primary threat over the weekend caused by southeast winds bringing in gulf moisture and elevating the dew points.
The computer model shows the storms weakening starting Saturday afternoon into Sunday even bringing out the sun with temperatures around the low 70s.
