FIRST ALERT: Hard freeze warning for San Antonio through Wednesday

Meteorologist Jeremy Baker has the full forecast this morning which includes the end of the hard freeze warning by Wednesday afternoon.

SAN ANTONIO - Wednesday morning's overnight low will get down to 23 degrees before the weather warms up by the weekend.

A hard freeze warning went into effect for San Antonio and surrounding counties at 9 p.m. Sunday and is expected to last until noon Wednesday. Most areas will rise above freezing today, with the exception of the Hill Country, which will approach the freezing point.

Tonight, skies will clear, allowing temperatures to drop back into the upper teens and lower to middle 20s. Wednesday will be a warmer day with mostly sunny skies and highs in the lower 50s.

We will see another night with a hard freeze Thursday morning, following by a light freeze Friday morning. But afternoon temperatures will start the climb up, hitting the 70s this weekend.
