Can DWI checkpoints curb dangers? SAPD makes appeal

Police Chief William McManus says this year San Antonio has had more then 7,000 DWI arrests. So SAPD is asking state lawmakers to consider letting them set up permanent routine DWI checkpoints. But, not everyone thinks it's such a good idea.
