SAN ANTONIO -- Vivian Fruje spent a pretty penny on her swimming pool and when it came time to complete some warranty work, she couldn't reach Marin Pools to finish the job. Things got worse when tiles started coming off and the calls continued to go unanswered.
Several weeks after our original story ran, the Marin brothers returned to finish the job, however they still need to work on the plumbing.
"We didn't even know they were coming, they just showed up with four to five guys and started pop, pop, pop," Vivian said.
In other news, based on his experience as an auditor for the Department of Defense, Jose Filio knew it wouldn't be easy to get money from Uncle Sam after getting rear-ended by a DEA agent.
The agent admitted fault, but was told compensation wouldn't arrive until the funds were available.
The check finally arrived in the mail a couple of weeks after we aired the original story.
