SAN ANTONIO — Police are searching for a man who shot more than a dozens rounds into a west-side home, killing one man and injuring a 2-year-old girl.

The shooter drove up to a home in the 200 block of Remolina and opened fire around 1 a.m. Wednesday, San Antonio police said.

One of the bullets grazed the arm of a 2-year-old girl who was inside the house, police said. She was taken to University Hospital in stable condition.

Another man inside the house ran outside and was chased down the gunman, police said. He was shot at least twice in the back.

The deceased was later identified as Joe Richard Santos. He was 30 years old.

Investigators at the scene said witnesses were not cooperating. They said the shooting appears to be gang-related.
